This is one unit of the regiment that is always in demand and when they are not performing
at venues all over the world they are taking part in competitions or honing their individual musical/miltary skills. The lead role enjoyed by the unit also has to be carried out alongside their military task as assault pioneers and ongoing training takes up most of their time. It’s a busy life in the band but it can be a very rewarding time for all those involved. Having recently completed a very successful tour of America with the Band of the Grenadier Guards the
